ABOUT

It’s time to do both everything we can to reduce greenhouse gas outputs AND to prepare for the climate change that is already underway.”
- Rebecca J. Tiffany, Climate Future creator

What is Climate Future?

Climate Future is education focused on underemphasized components of the climate change conversation, particularly the economics and everyday impacts.

Our mission is to help recruit new champions for change by connecting the information shared by scientists to the lived experiences of busy people, working class, retired, everyday people who care but don’t have time to invest in a deep understanding of the entire topic.

Here's what Climate Future Addresses:

Education

Climate Future will reshare information from the world’s leading climate science organizations in a straight-forward format about climate change, focused on direct-impacts in the daily lives and finances of our audience.

Solutions

While there are millions of ways we can fight climate change, our focus is on solutions that have extensive studies to back them up and especially ones that can be implemented rapidly, locally and most affordably. We’ll be examining not just the immediate, but also the longer term compound costs associated with each mitigation and adaptation solution.

We believe that knowledge is power

CHANGE

It’s one thing to care about climate change.

It’s another thing to know what to advocate for at your place of work, in your local government, or to know how to shop as a climate-conscious person. And it's important to focus on not just individual change, but the big things that we can collectively do to make a difference.

We’re going to help equip you to get involved in bringing about real change.

And the great thing is – many of the solutions to climate change are great for your community’s health, happiness, equity and financial wellbeing too.

Communities are already experiencing the impacts of climate change

The choices we make today will have enormous impacts on the world for many years to come.

We aren’t powerless against inevitable forces. But it’s up to each of us to become educated and to educate others about reducing greenhouse gas emissions, today.
